TRIBAL MINISTRY

Hi friends,
My heart always leaps with great joy and gratitude whenever i come forward to share my story on Impact.
I thank each one of you personally for your prayers, help and concern.

On 10th, a team of 8 members went to tribal ministry to a place called Madugula. From there, along with the local Church (16 members), we've
started off into interior tribal villages by walk. We went up and down
the mountains, on narrow rocky paths, beside small streams of waters
to reach those villages.
In each village, there are about 15 to 50
families. The distance from village to village is about 2 to 3 kilometers.

We walked so fast, reached 7 small tribal villages in a single day. Preached Jesus
in every street and to every door, prayed for the sick and had children
clubs in 3 villages.

These tribal people worship nature, spirits of their fore fathers and almost every male in the family practice witch craft and sorcery. We could literally feel the power of darkness so thickly. When we look
into their eyes, we can see the depth of their sorrow, their souls
lamenting in pain for freedom and the power of their resistance to
God.

Many strictly said "no" to the Gospel, some men are angry, yelled at us and cursed us, but few responded with great enthusiasm and joy.

These women who normally will shun themselves from speaking to strangers
(especially to men), happily received Jesus into their lives and prayed
with us the prayer of Salvation.
Wow!! We walked whole day happily,
enjoying the beautiful green mountains, rice fields, small water falls
and above all, with the joy of proclaiming the Gospel to our people who
lives on these mountains. Great was our joy to see people coming
forward to accept Jesus their Lord and Savior, people being healed and
delivered from the power of darkness.

Great is the need in our country, great is the cry of our people for
freedom and much greater is the urgency of the hour. Praying God to
send more and more men and women to reap the harvest and especially for YOU to join with us.

BEGGARS FEAST

Dear Friends,

On 25th November, we had Beggars Feast. Normally we give our beggar friends good amount of nutritious food, an egg and either water or butter milk packet. But this time, it was a celebration. One of our friends came forward and sponsored this time. They said, they wanted to give our friends a Big Feast. We gave them vegetable biryani, egg curry, sweet (laddu) with dry fruits, a banana and water.
When we stopped in our regular placed to give them the food, they came running towards. The people on the road came to see us as we are giving them BIG menu, the cars, bikes and by passers were surprised to see all this. Thought a marriage was going on. We heard them saying, "we never saw anyone treating the beggars so well"!!! Even our beggar friends were so happy to see the extra treat that was in their hands.

We shared Gospel to our beggar friends as well as to the crowds who stopped to see the Feast.
A big opportunity to preach the Gospel to many standing on the High way. A big smiles and greater impact in our friends.

But it is always heart breaking to see their sickness, their naked children, them being tortured by the weather and the society, many are physically and mentally challenged, it's always hard to leave them. We pray for them every single day. Thank you Friends for your love, concern and support, please keep praying for our beggar friends.

RESCUE - Uth CONFERENCE

On 9th Oct, we've organized a one day youth seminar -RESCUE for the young people in our city.
Addictions, suicides and death have
increased rapidly these years in our City.
The news headlines are
shocking, Drugs caught in a School, a 9 year old caught up using drugs in a school, drugs in pubs... and many others. It's really shocking for us, 'cause our city of Visakhapatnam is called, THE CITY OF DESTINY. But now, our destiny has become more towards death and destruction, shockingly, the majority of victims are young people and teenagers.

So
God inspired us to organize a youth conference on these topics- Drug addiction, sexual immorality, pornography, intimacy dis order and mental imbalance. Point blank! Especially to the Non- Christian youth. First of it's kind, Church addressing the social issues openly. It was not a revival meeting, not a healing crusade, not a power ministry, not any Christian kind of meeting. Many of my friends and Pastors discouraged us by saying people may not turn up especially the young ones. We prayed, stick on to God's word, had simple publicity. To our surprise, 173 young people have turned in. College students, employees, and Christian youth. Wow! Good music(all Christian songs), and choreographs kept up the mood. We showed them the problem, the consequences, and the solution. No dos and don't s. An open invitation of hope. When given an altar call of how many are involved in the pornography and sexual immorality and want to come out of it, 95% of them lifted up their hands up!!!

They
prayed, repented for their sins, asked Jesus to come into their heart and went home with confidence of The Holy Spirit helping them in their daily situations and challenges. So simple, so pure are their renewed faces and what a glorious scene it is to see people accepting Jesus as their Savior, their minds being renewed and youth taking a paradigm shift to lead a holy life from now on. A must see scene. Please CONTINUALLY up lift these young people in your prayers.

Feeding the POOR

We had Feeding the Poor on 1st October. Gave food to 183 friends.
We will see lots of beggar friends every time we give them the food.
We prepare nutritious meals. These days we made egg compulsory because
of the winter season. For how many days will a one big nutritious meal
sustain? No idea. But we are pressing forward to feed them and share
with them the Gospel.

Our friends change frequently, we see different faces every time,
some one else will occupy their place on the roads and foot paths,
travel without a goal... we tried to ask them,
what is your native place?
where do you live?
what is your caste?
what is your age?

They looked at us strangely. Some are mentally challenged they don't
even understand what we speak. They smile not by looking at us but by
seeing the food in our hands. They will listen to us while eating.

They know nothing except their burning hunger and haunting
weather. They are not listed in Government records, no benefits and
previlages. Not even a luxury of complete clothes to cover them and a
good bed sheet to protect from cold nights.

Oh! what a great previlage God gave us, every time we go we are
learning more and more.
The value of food, shelter, family, friends. The greatest blessing of
knowing and worshiping God.

Feeding the Poor to our beggar friends is one of the best fertile
ground to train our Disciples.

Thank you for all your faithful prayers and partnership.

Love and prayers,
Vijay and Neeraja.

Prision Ministry

God is helping us to continually minister to the children in Bostal schools.
We've visited boys bostal school this month on 4th and girls bostal
school on 5th.
They are responding so quickly to the love, hope, ,joy and eternal
life offered by our God.

They repent every time, cry with joy and ask us to come again and
again every time we go.

God is transforming their lives.

Please continually uphold them in your prayers.
